If you’re encountering any issues with this version, please let me know, thanks.
Lots of fun new changes. This is a beta release. There is the possibility that things wont work. FYI.
Changelog:
- Added: Auto-Ballad. Uses Ballad if BRD is sub job, Ballad 2 if BRD is main
- Added: Auto-Protect Power Leveler
- Added: Auto-Shell Power Leveler
- Added: Context Menu for each player to -na, protect, shell
- Added: Option to choose what MP% to auto-Convert
- Added: Option to choose what HP% to auto-Regen
- Added: Option to choose what HP% to auto-self Heal
- Added: French, German, Japanese spell and ability names
- Added: Distance check: *should* no longer attempt to heal players who are too far away
- Added: Basic verbosity choice in debug log
- Added: Experimental: Optionally also monitor players outside the group. Estimates HP to heal based on the maximum HP in the party (since I currently have no way to retrieve current HP or maximum HP of a random player)
This feature is not 100% complete. There is no interface to manage those players that have been selected. In order to monitor a player, target them, select “Experimental->Also Monitor…”. To stop monitoring, target the player and select “Experimental->Also Monitor…”
You must have a power leveler and an alternate character selected to use this feature. They can be the same character.
- Changed: Most preferences are selected from the Preferences dialog.
- Changed: Reduced time it takes to check if already casting a spell from 150 ms to 75 ms
- Changed: Migrated from FFACE 3 to FFACE 4
- Changed: Replaced debug console
- Changed: Slightly improved layout and look of main interface
- Changed: New version: new icon!
- Changed: Any debugging is done in the Debug Log, not message boxes.
- Fixed: In most cases should no longer attempt to auto-rest when casting a spell
- Fixed: Some cases where the incorrect level of cure would be selected when Cure 5 was disabled and Main Job was WHM
- Fixed: Should more intelligently choose which level of Regen to use when self-regen
- Fixed: Auto Abilities (well, FFACE fixed them anyway :D)
- Fixed: Will no longer auto-Penury when electing to manually cast a spell, resulting in the spell failing
- Removed: WindowerHelper (using WindowerHelper integrated in FFACE)
- Removed: Most debugging options
And probably more that I don’t remember.

This version requires the .NET Framework Version 3.5.
I haven’t gotten all the feedback yet from those who wanted to test this version early. I also haven’t been able to get my dancer into a party (wtf no one invites dancers…) to test much myself. So there will probably be bugs, and I will fix them as they are reported.
Your old settings will are not able to be ported to the new bot. I changed the structure of the settings file, and didn’t feel it was that important to be able to migrate them. Sorry.
I will add this new version to auto update as soon as I’m sure it’s working properly (I would hate to auto-update and have it work worse than the other version XD).
To those who alpha tested this for me: There are a few changes in this version. Since it’s not on the auto-update yet, it is recommended that you re-download and replace the version you have.
Edit:
1.0.1.40 Saturday 11/21. After I test it it’ll be released. Good stuff.

When I try to load this up, 2 Application Error windows comes up saying “Unable to find an entry point named “InitFFACE” in DLL “FFACE.dll”, and “Unable to find an entry point named ‘FindAllPid’ in DLL ‘FFACE.dll’.”
That should only happen if you’re trying to use version 0.5.0 or below with FFACE 4.
Is this happening when you start FFXI PL.exe (not ffxi-auto-pl.exe)? If you’re using a shortcut to start the application, it could explain why. I changed the name of the executable, so if you were using a shortcut, you would need to update it.
Oh, right right. I was clicking the old shortcut^^; Omg, the star is so cute! The Experimental seems interesting. I’ll try it out when I get a chance later today.
