I Don’t Want Your Donations…

Until FFACE isn’t lame, or another dll exists, I’m halting development of this bot. Sorry. I don’t play FFXI anymore, so I really don’t want to spend my free time creating a replacement for FFACE. I would also recommend not using this or other FFACE apps considering the changes that have been made to FFACE.

The newest version (and all versions going forward, it seems) of FFACE.dll is soliciting donations each time an instance is created. It is automatically, and by no command of mine, taking you to a web site and asking you to donate. There seems to be, programmatically, no way around it. I would recommend not donating. This is a shady practice, and it should not be tolerated.

I am trying to find or create a workaround, however if I cannot, I will probably just stop development of this bot.

To be clear, I will never ask for donations. I provide this application for free. If RZN wants donations he can solicit them himself, not though applications other people create.

I don’t use any premium features in the application. You DO NOT need to donate. Please do not donate.

No one has complained yet…Barring the unforeseen, posting this to the auto update at or around 6:30 PM PST tomorrow. If there are any problems, someone let me know so I can fix them before then.

  • Added: Auto-equip Light Staff for Cure, Dark Staff for resting

  • Changed: FFACE.dll version 4.1.0.2
  • Fixed: Resolved unhandled exception caused by FFACE.dll expiring
  • Also fixed a few other minor bugs

FFACE.dll Updated to 4.0.0.21

Sorry for those of you who had to find and download the update yourselves.

I’ve added the newest version of FFACE.dll to the auto update.

If you haven’t already updated, it will prompt you to update to 4.0.0.21.

Looks like FFACE.dll expired prematurely.
